  1. Hello, I just bought 6 boxes of records for $20. After looking through them and listening, I am hooked. I want to get into collecting, investing, and selling records. However, I have no idea what to look for. I go to yard sales/ auctions and I am lost. I want to buy records that will build value. I want to keep them for a while so I can hand them down to my kids when they get older. What suggestions do you have for me to be a successful collector?
  2. Paper Books LLC, a creative brainchild of two lifelong friends, will be releasing a book titled In the Grooves: The Visual History of the Vinyl Record. This book takes vinyl lovers through the world of unique and creative vinyl records. With a departure from the simple beauty of a black vinyl record, this book shows various types of colored, shaped, and other interesting vinyl in its full, high resolution, life sized glory. Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for release details, and contests for winning a free copy!

  5. So i was wondering if anyone out there has a job that is just perfect for a collector? Maybe you work for an artist, or play in a band, or even just intern for a label... or maybe you just steal from the post office. I didn't get into collecting until a couple years ago, but for the past 10 years I have worked in the music industry. Between playing in a band, being a merchandise manager for other artists, tour manager / guitar tech for various tours, and even working at hot topic in my early 20s. All of these occupations helped me score some pretty sweet records. Share your story. Or don't.
