OHIO Medical Marijuana

The latest cover story for (614) Magazine is all about Medical Marijuana in our great state. The Ohio Rights Group is gathering petition signatures to get the amendment on the ballot. ORG must collect 385,247 signatures and "no less than 5 percent of the turnout from the previous gubernatorial election in at least 44 of 88 counties."

 

"They currently have 45,000 signatures in their database, another 60,000-130,000 in circulation, and they've met the 5-percent requirement in four counties."

Good luck. Indiana has some of the strictest marijuana laws around so I doubt we're going to legalize anytime soon

I'll gladly sign that petition.  I think it's unfortunate that we, as the constituents of Ohio, have to band together in order to get something like this even ON the ballot.  It's pathetic that we end up having to do our own elected representative's jobs for them.  It makes it pretty clear who it is that they're actually representing.
