Snaggle Von Swift
I sold 2 7" records on ebay, and have to ship them to the UK looking for an idea of how much to charge for shipping/handling. i'd rather not have to take an extra trip to the post office just to get a price. shipping from the east coast (philadelphia) to the United Kingdom the ebay calculator says $11.00 + package just want to see if that seems reasonable/correct
mynameisdan
when i have to do that, i usually check usps.com and hope i guessed the weight right.
heavyheavylowlow
for 2 7"s I usually pay between 7 and 15 dollars
ocnypunk
2 7" records with packaging usually weigh just over 7 ounces. if the cardboard is light sometimes under 7 ounces. so put 8 ounces in the usps calculator to be sure. ive never had 2 7"s ever weigh more than 8 ounces no matter how much bubble wrap i use. xlynwoodx
I guess its because I work right by the post office, but those new machines they have are a godsend. I'll just walk in, weigh it or get a shipping price, and then leave. There is usually no wait and if you're going by there anyway, its the best. youarethere
for 2 7"s I usually pay between 7 and 15 dollars Sounds reasonable. Remember the dollar is very expensive compared so it won't seem as much so you can get a good deal.
