circuit bored records Posted July 13, 2014 Share Posted July 13, 2014 Well, as a general rule of thumb, yes avoid receivers, especially with entry level ones like the Yamaha mentioned ITT. But there are some top notch receivers out there that should be considered for a home theater and music listening set up, that can out perform a lot of the entry level integrated amps that are consistently recommended on these forums.
