Thanks AllenH, I have realized the Marantz is over priced, I'm looking at these two because it's whats available in my area of Edmonton Alberta Canada and don't want to pay crazy shipping costs.

I'm looking at buying one of these and I'm wondering which people prefer. The Sansui was completely rebuilt 4 years ago and the guy is asking $200. The Marantz is in great shape with everything lit and working well, the guy is asking $400. Thoughts?

Hello, I had a Technics SL-BD27U, that was only used a couple of times, given to me today. I'm wondering if these are a decent turntable and if it's even worth cleaning up and putting a good cartridge on? Thanks in advance for the replies.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Yamaha RX 550, is it any good? Not a lot of info out there as far as how it performs and reviews.

Hello, I'm looking at buying a Marantz 2240 that has been in the box for 38 years and still has the protective plastic on the face and comes with the original wood slip. They are asking $300, does this sound like a decent deal? Also is this a decent reciever for vinyl?
