mynameistom
as awesome as VC is, paying postage to the uk for every record i want is kind of expensive, and increases the risk of it getting damaged in the post. any UKers on here got a reccomendation for a quality uk record store that deals in similar stuff as VC?? Cheers.
mrc
I just ordered from pyrrhus.be - it is a webstore for genet records. they are in belgium. They have a rare/out of print section and also have some second hand stuff too along with new releases. i have placed a couple orders with them and are pretty good most of the time. they do take their time pulling orders and responding to you, so be patient. billynomates
www.normanrecords.com not so much punk, but all sorts, and lots of vinyl. Next day delivery too.
celebdeath
a couple of good ones: www.newtrecords.com www.actionrecords.co.uk www.sisterray.co.uk www.conspiracyrecords.com (heavier stuff)(belguim) www.chunkyrecords.com (cheap-as closing down sale) www.kozmik-artifactz.com (i think they're german) www.moremusic.co.uk/links/ (huge list of record shops but a lot are redundant now - if you have time to look) i've bought from all of these and all are top notch. celebdeath
you could also try caiman on amazon marketplace. they have lots of good stuff, well cheap. just do a search in amazon for [insert band here] vinyl and select the new/used option. you never know - i found pelican's fire in our throats... and mono's one step more... real cheap on there. thomas
I've bought from hmv uk's site quite a few times. Also I am suprised it is not cheaper for you to buy stuff here and have it shipped over there since the exchange rate is heavily in your favor. mynameistom
yeah the exchange rate does help a bit but when you add international postage and the increased risk of damage to the record, sometimes its better to buy from the uk
