PO: Leon Vynehall - Rojus (Designed to Dance) (4/1/2016)

from bleep:

Delicious second album from Portsmouth, UK producer Leon Vynehall. Dropping on Gerd Jansen’s Running Back imprint, Vynehall spreads his wings to fly with the Deep House Gods (apparently the record is inspired by the mating rituals of Birds). This is 4/4 music rooted in the studio (live syncopated drums, gritty analogue synthesis, tape-hiss-haze, bumping bass pressure) but reaching higher and higher: like all great house music aspires. Vynehall has the gift (think contemporaries, DJ Sprinkles, Floating Points, Theo Parrish) to give house music that something extra, undefined – spiritual… Rojus Designed To Dance is coming to a club near you Spring, Summer and beyond. Whether you like it or not. And you will like it.
