nihac
I see. Well, I didn't expect this to become a competition.... haha! Anyway, I have all three you mentioned. The UK 2LP of "Songs For The Deaf" is already there, haven't you seen it? The first single isn't really a QOTSA release, by the way. Still, I own it and have a picture below. I have the debut 10" as well, picture is also below. Now it's your turn. GAMMA RAY - 7" clear/black marbled vinyl QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE / BEAVER split 10" white/green marbled vinyl

nihac
Is this an official release? I do not care too much about bootlegs, fanclub editions and all that stuff.....
joshua
oh snap. i'd have to check. i remember something about it being a Scandinavian release. i think it's called Drunken In Stonehedge or something...
nihac
Oh, I know about that one. That's not really what I am interested in. Thanks anyway!

desensitizedbyu
Hey, that was me asking! Thanks! VERY IMPRESSIVE. I personally like collecting all the bootlegs as well too, I think they're just as awesome. Do you have the signed Fun Machine 7"? Thanks again man! nihac
No, I am afraid I don't know about that one.... sounds interesting. Do you have a pic?
desensitizedbyu
Here's the story grabbed from a popsike auction: "This is from a limited pressing, and is personally signed by all members of the band. I picked this up at the 1st leg of their UK tour at Brixton Academy on 22nd August 2005. I was lucky to grab 2, so am selling this one. The record was given to fans as a way of apology for cancelling the set of gigs 4 times previously. The vinyl features "The Fun Machine Took A S*** And Died" on one side and a commentary from Josh Homme on the other. This is unplayed and mint, both vinyl and sleeve. The vinyl is handscribed with "Funmachine 1 a2" on one side and "Funmachine 1 b2" on the other. A few of these came up on eBay just after the gig but I haven't seen any anywhere for some time so this is your chance to own a priceless piece of QOTSA memorabilia. Homme recently spoke about the song during an interview with Pitchforkmedia: "..we re-recorded parts of 'The Fun Machine' and we're putting it on a 45 and giving it to all the kids we canceled on in Europe. So it's coming out in little pieces." "it's about 15 minutes long, but it's about 15 different parts. It sits for a minute or something, and then it revisits things in different tempos. We re-recorded through my cassette player. It's a badass cassette player. It's the truth, actually. That's no lie."" I'm sure you've heard the song, it's one of their best, and the b side is commentary through one speaker and commentary on the commentary through another speaker. nihac
Holy shit, that's awesome. How much is it?
desensitizedbyu
I've seen them go for a lot, but since they were handed out at the show, it can go pretty high. I got mine for about 100. Also, no one knows the pressing numbers so that's annoying. But it's pretty cool to have. Do you have the pic disc 7"?
nihac
Oh, I thought you bought 2 at the show and you were panning to sell one of the two copies that you got. Anyway, I guess I can't afford tht anyway.... What pic 7" do you mean? I am no really up to date about later QOTSA anymore. I didn't like "Lullabies...." too much, so I didn't really care about any stuff from that record. "Era Vulgaris" is way better I think, but still I am afraid I don't follow their 7" releases that much anymore..... but it seems I should, haha!
desensitizedbyu
There's this, this and this. But they're all songs from Lullabies. I personally love Lullabies so it might not interest you. There's also import as well, not a pic disc though.
nihac
I will check it out. Thanks man! Just checked at satanic ebay, there is defnitely quite some stuff that I don't own yet, also from 7"es from "Era Vulgaris".... I will have to do some shopping.... nihac
as already mentioned, I don't really care about bootlegs and fanclub editions in which the bands are not involved in. I am basically into "official" releases.

manicdogbert
Quick question.. What is the Cat Number on that Rated X LP?I have one but I think it may be a bootleg, because there is no bar code and the cat number is 000 000-0 i'm pretty sure all of the Rated R/Rated X LP's have no barcode or catalogue number. mine is the same and i bought it when it first came out.
