derkwithano
Haven't posted here in awhile and just Googled for a thread like this because to me it seems like the prices have gone way up! I remember shipping overseas for like $13 (7") and $18 (12"). Recently I shipped 2 records together and it came out to like $36. Now someone bought a 4 pound 7 ounce box set off me and it's costing $59 for the cheapest option if I'm seeing it correctly. At first it looked like $75! This includes shipping and tracking. Price check it here - https://ircalc.usps.com/ If it is cheaper you can purchase/print out the label/custom form from home and just drop it in a blue mailbox like you would any other package. Bada bing bada boom. Sorry but I would like to request a link to your disOg page please. I'm looking for good sellers that ship to Canada. Sorry if this reply is in appropriate to the thread. If if you are getting the record insured why are you double boxing it? you could easily cut the price in half if you just sent it in a mailer with with two extra cardboard fillers. If it's a high value item being shipped thousands of miles and the buyer pays an extra amount to get the record in a proper condition, that should be the way...
