andrews
Does it have matador written on it? Is the sleeve/labels different at all? Mind uploading some pics?
manicdogbert
not sure about the record itself but the cover is exactly the same as the WYR version except that it has a small Matador Records sticker with the catalog number on it. (i saw the 12" on saturday but didn't buy it because i figured it was the same as the WYR version and i'm not about to start collection Fucked Up variants)
kyle
So what is the point of Matador doing the Year of the Pig 12" again? Was the WYR version OOP and it needed repressing? So the way to get the new tracks is to either buy the three 7"s or get the CDEP?
andrews
UK version - http://cgi.ebay.ca/F-CKED-UP-Year-of-The-Pig-UK-7-2008_W0QQitemZ350082001536QQihZ022QQcategoryZ58669QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

andrews
Hard sleeve? Maybe its more like the UK version. Either way, if you're bored, would you mind throwing up a few pics? Not really necessary, I'm just curious. I'd think at least the labels would be different or something.

Awesome, I'll pick up the 7"s on Saturday. I'll save my money on the 12" since it's the same as WYR. I'm kinda guessing it isn't THAT rare if Amoeba has retail copies. teganandsara
Yes save your money and do not get the 12". Matador no longer has stock of the Japan and UK 7" so it may be harder to come by but I think matador really screwed up this release also. teganandsara
I just do not know what to think because how could the supplier be out of stock on something they have not sold to the general public. Also fucked Up said they wanted to keep most of the 7"'s in the region they were meant for and that 250 copies of the Japan 7" are in spain. manicdogbert
you just answered your own question. they sent out all their stock to stores and that's probably why they didn't have many for mail order. it's quite possible that Matador don't sell enough via their online store so they decided to send the majority of the records out to stores. Amoeba LA had 30 copies of each of the 7"s.

salaho
Does it have the same stamped labels? Yes, mine does. Not a lot of point keeping it just for a sticker!
