Oldmusicman
I am a long time BJ Thomas fan (raindrops keep falling on my head) when i was little back in the 70's i would probably have been 7 or 8 i won this record at a fairground, it is on Warner Bros label, i then got a record player that year for christmas just so i could play it. Anyway doing some searching on ebay as you do i came across another copy on the Hickory label stamped Advanced Promotion Copy , with an ink date stamp of August 19th 1966, so i bought it cost me £5 , not that the price mattered to me, i have loved both songs from being a child. i looked on Discogs and they have no reference to this version of the single is it worth me uploading a picture of it to the site ? N8TRU
Yes. Discogs encourages people to add as much as they can to the database as long as it's legitimate. However you'll need to make a listing for that record if it's a different promotional copy that's not on the database.
chiefwahoo
Oldmusicman, assuming it is the promo documented here: https://www.45cat.com/record/451395 then it does look like it needs its own entry at Discogs.
