momentumlost
seriously, why does everyone get on scotts case about why we shouldnt leak stuff. we shouldnt, its wrong...regardless of how you view it. scott works for a major publication and gets advance copies. i see where he is coming from, shit i used to be the music manager for a borders in manhattan and id get advance copies every week, sometimes months in advance. never once have i leaked something, and if i was in scotts shoes and found out who had leaked an album, i would call or email my contact. this industry is a lot of people working together, i've met representatives from every major label and a lot of indies, over a few years of dealing with them and going to shows and seeingthem you become friends with these people. because of the reputation ive earned through trust i am now, after no longer working for a company they deal with, still able to get promotion copies for my own use. this is large in part to me never once leaking something and always willing help out when i can.
