gridsector
hello- don't know if there are any shoegaze/space rock fans on here, but i thought i'd post about the 2 recent releases on my label deep space recordings. the newest being the glissade 'further' 2xlp (see pic above). here's a bit about the band/record: i am really, really excited for this, as they are one of my favorite locals and, in my opinion, one of the best of the current crop of shoegaze/space rock noise makers today. think flying saucer attack or early spacemen 3 as a starting point...their sound goes from an almost lo-fi, raw-sounding hum, to blissful, walls of beautiful guitar noise in an instant. if you are one of those that likes to hear things before you buy, we're streaming the whole thing on our website: http://www.gridsector.com/deepspacerecordings.html we pressed 500 of these, with 200 on blue + a bonus cd of new material for mailorder. the other release is the debut s/t 12" from a sf band called lsd and the search for god. they've been described as a poppy my bloody valentine - which i think is pretty fitting. this is a one-time pressing of 1000, with 200 on yellow for mailorder. we still have some color for both if that's your thing - people in the US can use the paypal buttons on our myspace page to order if you'd like (or just email us). INTERNATIONAL folks, or if you would like to order more than just the 2xlp, shoot us an email (deepspacerecordings @ gmail. com). as always, thanks for the support! if you have any questions, shoot us a note! i am looking to get some of our current/future stuff in the vc store, but for now, everything can be had through us. space out. http://www.gridsector.com/deepspacerecordings.html '>http://www.myspace.com/deepspacerecordings
