brady
On Saturday, December 6th, starting at 9 am there is a record show at 2916 Lyndale Ave, S. Its the VFW off Lyndale and Lake. Apparently local stores will all have booths there. Its 2 dollar admission. Y'all should go!
faith
Usually those shows really suck I've been once... all I found was a citizen fish record that was REALLY bang'd up.

Guest mastenator
I agree with Faith...I went last year and after 2 hours of browsing all I found was a Flipper 7" and when I asked the guy how much he wanted he tried to gouge me for $40. deafmx
i went to one in chicago once when i was visiting a friend. bought a few promos that ended up being warped or damaged from the plastic sleeve. and a fugazi 7" i could have found anywhere probably. kind of a waste of time, but local stores have decent selection so it MIGHT be a decent show. the last one i went to in MN was like 10 years ago in bloomington near the airport and it sucked royally. lynlake area could be promising, especially if extreme noise shows up
faith
Those happen a few times a year, deafmx. At the same location in the Lynlake area. It sucks.

rhythmgtr5
why would there be a fee to get in?
brady
I'm guessing to pay to rent the VFW.
vinyljunkie
the shows are hit or miss usually. ive been to some record shows where you get some dude getting rid of a "cheap" box, and you can pick up some awesome unknown punk/hardcore stuff for just a buck or three a piece. or if you have the patience to flip through hundreds of boxes of old country and 70s rock, youll ocassionally find a punk gem that the dude selling cant remember where he got it, but isnt into that type of music. but there is also an equal chance youll go and there will be thousands of overpriced 70s rock and classic country records, and a couple guys selling "collector" punk stuff for 50 bucks a pop.
