i'm assuming bob from braid has seen my braid tattoo because he is on my myspace friends list and i have a photo of it in my pictures folder. i helped out/went on tour with bob when toured here last year.

i wouldn't go out of my way to show someone a tattoo related to their band though. i think i'm going to get a weakerthans tattoo next.

FUNNIEST FUCKING STORY ABOUT BAND TATTOOS:

so this kid got ruiner lyrics tattooed on his ribs (waste your tears on somebody else). and like, i am going to assume that ruiner is kinda weird about people getting tattoos of their lyrics on them (the album on myspace for tattoos is titled "silly people.."). anyway, so rob is singing that line that the kid had tattooed on him, so the kid gets in stage and lifts up his shirt and starts patting his side so rob can see he got the tattoo. rob just fucking punches the kid in the face. so now whenever rob sings that line everyone lifts up their shirt and starts patting their side.

good shit.

that's just really shitty. i mean, i understand when bands get weirded out and the on stage chest patting thing seemed a bit much....but to punch him in the face?
