brettall
If your stereo is bluetooth enabled, you can buy a Sony stereo bluetooth adapter ($80) and play your ipod cordlessly with perfect sound. That's what I do.

adamlikesmusic
I got a new deck at Best Buy, and the guy ended up throwing in and installing the iPod cable for free. Runs through my glove box (no messy wires like my old cassette!), and charges as it plays (no more dead battery!). Controlled through my stereo. Definitely awesome. But more and more are coming with it because of handsfree cell phone use. I believe Acuras come with bluetooth standard now. I had a sony bluetooth deck put in myself. voodooramen
I installed a $90 JVC cd player into my car to replace my broken tape/radio. I just use the aux input, works great. But these stock speakers are dying on me, I am too cheap to replace them though.
