burntwolf
specifically the Nitty Gritty 1.0 i don't think i can justify spending more than what that one goes for...but curious if it's really all that worth it and if manually scrubbing and manually rotating is a huge drag compared to the 1.
funkydrummer
Yes cleaning machines make a huge difference, you will freak out the first time you hear it. The only records they won’t make silent are ones that have groove damage. I own the kab ev1 http://www.kabusa.com/ev1.htm it's cheaper version of the nitty gritty ($159) in which you have to supply your own vacuum. The manual scrubbing and turning isn't that bad, I use a spare turntable to apply the fluid. As far as fully automatic machines I would go for one of the VPI's but they start at $
