"The Black and the Blue" LP cream soda clear vinyl FOR.THE.WIN. "The Black and the Blue" LP opaque blue vinyl FOR.THE.WIN. "The Black and the Blue" LP set of both colors http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Store/Search.aspx?&Page=1&Sort=1&sku=sr008 We are very excited to bring you the pre-orders from Solidarity Records' latest releases. Solidarity has previously put out an LP for Honor System and a 7" for the Wardogs, but these 2 could be their best releases yet. Anchor Down's latest recording offering I guess you would call an 12" EP. The band hails from Portland and we are all fans of them musically and as people here at Vinyl Collective. They came down to play a Blackout Pact, I missed them, but Josh from VC said they were great. While they were in town, they came out to the Drag the River show the next night and got drunk with us. Anchor Down are all aces in our book! And I think that if you are a fan of Blackout Pact, you will dig what these guys do. Pressing Info (Anchor Down) – Periwinkle Purple /100 , Orange Swirl /400 I don't know the For the Win guys, but we have heard nothing but good things. Here is what Solidarity has to say, "The Black and the Blue is a must for fans of Comeback Kid, Paint It Black, Strike Anywhere, Fifteen, Bouncing Souls, Dead to Me, and Western Addiction. Bay Area Posi-Core at its best." You can't beat a comparison like that. Pressing info (For the Win) - Cream Soda Clear /100 , Opaque Blue /400 We will be announcing details of the test pressing contests for these releases shortly; it is gonna be a really great contest and probably one of the biggest we have ever had. tim
Anchor Down looks short for an LP. Is it single sided? Nevertheless the awesome contests surrounding these might tip the scales towards me buying both of these albums.

Fact this guy did art for both Anchor Arms and Anchor Down isn't going to do me any favours keeping the two bands straight.
