tonyregret
I love this band and thought Strictly Rude was wonderful, but these two songs sound like shit. I cannot emphasize enough what a bad idea it is having those girls sing all over the record.
cadetapplesauce
Because, well, they were all better than Strictly Rude with the big exception of Salem Girls. ? awesome prank calls, though
danthemjfan23
^ On second thought, I'd probably have to hear it first. Female ska vocals isn't something I can say I've ever come across and actually liked. ??
goraiders
just listened to the new songs. NOT stoked I hope the entire record doesn't sounds like that...
andrew13
Because, well, they were all better than Strictly Rude with the big exception of Salem Girls. ? awesome prank calls, though that cd had at least 1 good song in Tommy that i have actually seen them play live before. although that's a cover of a Shot by Lami song, so it's a push. flood
the two new tracks sound like b-52's meets oingo boingo. gypsy hill was by far my favorite big d record.
fresnoska
My god, those two songs suck. I miss the manic energy on Shot By Lammi/Good Luck/Gypsy Hill. The rest just seemed like the beginning of the end......
tonyregret
Did anyone see that they posted a 3rd song online, which sounds similar to the laid back ska on Strictly Rude...i'm guessing it was done as a means of damage control. So far all i've read are people strongly disliking the initial 2 songs...not a good start for this new record. Gypsy Hill is also my favorite release by the band
