He died in the ring last night of an apparent heart attack. I would compare it to Hulk Hogan dying in the ring during a PPV. Sad stuff. I remember downloading his and Kenta Kobashi's battles way back when I was super into wrestling. In every wrestling video game I used his tiger driver as my finisher, it was such a sweet move. That's pretty insane because it happened while taking a back drop, a fairly basic and common move, especially in Japan. Word is he was out of it the whole match and probably working with a concussion. Plus all those years of "strong style" head drops might have finally caught up with him.
