brad
THURSDAY ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL COMMON EXISTENCE TOUR DATES August 18, 2009 – Los Angeles, CA – New Jersey rock band Thursday have added additional dates to their headlining fall US tour. The post-hardcore innovators have announced an additional Los Angeles date where they will perform their 2003 hit album War All The Time in its entirety and an additional New York City date where they will perform their classic album Full Collapse. The recently re-united rock outfit Far will provide direct support for both shows. Ticket pre-sales for the additional dates will be offered through Thursday’s Doves Club at Artist Arena beginning August 19; public on-sales will begin August 28. 9/24 – St. Andrews Hall – Detroit, MI (w/ The Fall of Troy, Young Widows & La Dispute) 10/10– Knitting Factory – Hollywood, CA (w/ Far, Touche Amore) 10/25 – Bowery Ballroom – New York, NY (w/ Far, Midnight Masses) While it would be amazin to see steps ascending with Jonah in Cali I can't make it, but full collapse is the cd of my life. Holy shit, I can't wait. The NYC date is on sale and I just bought a ticket. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00004312BC217240?artistid=710435&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=
jhog3411
WOW. I was so pissed when it snowed in Providence last year and they were supposed to be playing Full Collapse in Providence. This totally makes up for it. Full Collapse is one of my favorite albums. With Far? I've been waiting to see them forever. I just saw Jonah play a house show a couple of weeks ago. I am beyond stoked for this. So worth a trip down to NYC.

monk0nuggets
Damn. I saw them plenty of times when both of these records came out, but to see them in their entirety would rule the school.

travis
Going to be an awesome show and the Knitting Factory is fucking small. I wish they were playing Full Collapse in Hollywood tho, by far my favorite Thursday album. War All The Time is cool but Id much rather hear Full Collapse. I wasn't so interested on this tour since I don't like any of the openers but between them doing this and getting Far to open had me going until I noticed its the same day as the Sunny Day show.
