I have a budget turntable and Bose desktop speakers, but vinyl always sounds so much better than MP3s via iTunes. Anyone else have this problem? hell yeh i do too, i ended up just putting the sleeves in sideways so that i can just pull the record out that way, the record itself goes in and out a little easier for me that way. but yeh, my roommate was looking at and was having the hardest time getting it back in and i was just picturing in my mind the record breaking as he was trying to put it back. luckily it didn't happen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rickcannon Posted December 12, 2009 Share Posted December 12, 2009 It's probably my record player, but the pressing sounds... high. The pitch isn't the same as the CD. I played the guitar part with it, in tune with the record. Then with the CD. Not the same. Same speakers, but again, it could easily be our record player. Problem is, Abbey Road sounded just fine.
