If you could choose the line up of a festival.....

Plus everyone remembers the actual Black Flag reunion, or should I saw reunions that consisted of 3 different line ups playing different shows since no one wanted to play with each other.

True, but in the spirit of the thread, we would have to kinda assume that any band would be eligible, dead members or not, and that they would be willing to put aside differences to play said festival...

Good call on the Dead Boys Mike. Add the Germs to the list(s) as well...with Darby, not the actor who played him in the movie.

13 posts in and nobody has mentioned essentials like Black Flag, The Clash, The Ramones, Minor Threat, Dead Kennedys (original lineup), Void, Bad Brains, etc.

Bad Brains are still around (and they SUCK ASS), Strummer's dead, so i wouldn't dare try, as well as the Ramones.. You get the pic.. Black Flag was one of those bands i never really liked. Hell Void i forgot about.. thanks for pointing that out.. I need to download some of their stuff. I haven't heard them in years. Minor Threat and Dk would be great too. But MInor Threat would probably be one of the few pioneer hc bands i'd watch if they got back together.

When you are coming up with imaginary festival lineups of broken up bands does it really matter if some people are dead?
