burntwolf
anyone heard this? apparently it's recently released but was recorded (studio) in 1993. Sonny Vincent (of the Testors) w/ Rocket from the Crypt. it might be a German import? Cargo Germany maybe? i saw it at Amoeba SF but I wanted to check out what it was first and it might've been too expensive too, i don't remember. at least, too expensive for an impulse purchase. i couldn't find any tracks online anywhere to check out. burntwolf
yea i did find it on aural exploits earlier. interpunk actually has it too. i got that live set earlier too. the half i listened to was pretty cool. i used to be super into RFTC and i don't remember hearing about this when it happened. i haven't paid as much attn in the last few years (well, esp. not since they broke up). rab75
This is indeed a new release. It was released 2009 by We deliver the guts records which is a division of Cargo Germany. It can't have been recorded in 1993 though as Ruby Mars is the drummer and he didn't join RFTC until after 2000. Speedo and Sonny and N.D are the other three involved in the recordings. Recorded in San Diego (which is Spanish for whales vagina) at no specified date. Fucking great record to own.
chiefwahoo
Thanks for posting, I didn't know about this. I saw Sonny open for RFTC and they were his band as well. It was a great set, 2003 sounds about right. I'll have to pick this up.
