brotherkyle
Anyone ever use an lp mailer to ship a textbook? I have this beast of a book that I need to send out, but don't have and can't find an envelope large enough. Any advice? thank you
adamlikesmusic
Perhaps the USPS flatrate boxes? They're fairly big, and no matter the weight (up to 70 lbs), it ships for one low flat rate. (Plus it'll get there quickly) Edit - And they're free. You can even order them online if you're too lazy to go to the Post Office, and your mail man will leave a bundle outside your house. xjustinxschwierx
it can work, plus books are media, so media mail rates would apply to the shipment.
Duff
can't see why it wouldn't work. they do make book mailers though, which are identical to LP mailers in terms of sturdiness.
dietrich
i just did this. the guy at the post office asked if it was vinyl and I was just like not this time, but usually. and it gets mediamail
Guest eriathomas
The post office used to always ask me if I was sending a book when I would mail out LPs in LP mailers, but now they are always like "you sure sell a lot of your records". Good times.
One Hundred Fifty-Two
The people at the post office pretty much assume it's records when I come in.
