electricsnow
I downloaded a copy of garageband and it keeps giving me an error message saying that i have an invalid instrument library and it wont open. Does anyone know how to get around this? I googled it and it didn't help anything. Thanks for any help.
adamlikesmusic
Don't computers come with GarageBand?
davezer
Don't computers come with GarageBand? yep! but only 10.x OS have i believe but to answer the question, its most likely because you do not have the instrument library. Just spend the 200 bucks and get an MBox with Pro Tools, or if you are trying to compose via midi, spend the money and get Reason.
AlexH.
How did you download it? If you downloaded a copy of iLife it should install everything.
electricsnow
I had garageband on my computer until i upgraded from tiger to leopard. Garageband apparently doesn't come with the new OS. I just gave up on it and downloaded audacity which should work nicely for what i'm trying to record.
