scottheisel
Have you tried googling "stencil photo converter" yet? Because I did that and found the answer. Just a suggestion.
kouka
I tried: "stencil photo effect" "stencil maker" "how to make stencils" "stencil photo converter" I also don't have photoshop, so "stencil photo converter" doesn't help. If anyone else knows the free program I am asking about that also blows it up to print on several pieces of paper, I'd appreciate the help. lonesomexloveus
i don't think this is what you're referring to, but this is pretty cool: http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ my college roommate and i made a couple of these once. ALSO: http://www.gimp.org/ use that instead of photoshop.
pjaicomo
Rasterbating was the bomb diggity in college.

I can't dl anything onto my work computer (which is where I am), so if I can figure out how to stencil-ize the image, I'm set.
Just Another Tom
Whats the stencil for? and do you just want it to look like a stencil or it to be physically cutable (as in no islands) Either way i am happy to bang it through Photoshop for you, although depending on the size of the image i can't guarantee how good it will look printed that big because i only have a standard printer. scotterson
I can upload a black and white vector file if you like so you can blow it up. There are definitely some islands though, but you could probably fix that while cutting.
kouka
that sounds great! can I "blow it up" and print it onto multiple pages through word or something. apparently, i don't know shit about this, haha.
Just Another Tom
Dude, i don't turning it in to a stencil, i only asked because i was concerned of the edge quality but if you are cutting it out it doesn't matter. I can do it in Photoshop if you want to use the Rasterbator, unless you want to take Scotterson up on his vector file.
scotterson
I've actually saved it out at 20" square. There's and EPS (in case you need to edit it...or have a friend edit it...probably wont need it), a PDF which you can open and print through Acrobat, and a JPG, which you should be able to print through ANY image editor. Chances are your computer already has Acrobat and that's going to be the safest easiest bet. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W0IADJC5

I really don't think it would have looked good blown up that much. It would have been way rough. It only took me a minute to do, I hope I wasn't stepping on your toes!
