aarondanger
Hey, So we have two new records out and I want to try and make an effort to get them to places I know that review vinyl. MRR for example is zine I have never sent stuff to. Do I need to include one sheets? or can I just send them records. Thanks -aaron
barrettrecords
Always a good idea to include a one sheet.
lokithelion
Always a good idea to include a one sheet, just don't include a band photo, shit is annoying. I still review vinyl. <
scottheisel
Always a good idea to include either a download code or a CD-R of the tunes for those of us who don't have turntables in their office.

jailhouse
I would seriously reconsider sending a one sheet to MRR or Razorcake. They actually tell you not to in the reviews Faq in the zine. And in my experience they will relentlessly make fun of you and tell you you are sucking the corporate dick, by simply including a onesheet. MRR doesn't even like barcodes, much less one sheets. Razorcake is more easy going though. An old running joke, is if they don't wish you horrible diseases or death in your review, than you got a great review. MRR are pretentious assholes. back to my recluse.
Guest afsdan
giving a little info about the band, like where they are from, how long they've been around, what other records they have available is completely legit. where it gets ridiculous is when "one-sheets" read like the writer masturbated out the adjectives
