rab75
Hey People, I am currently heading across the pond by sea and reach Jacksonville FLA for a few days next week. Can anybody recommend good records stores in the city/area(2hrs drive max) I will also hit Norfolk VA, Halifax NS and Fort Lauderdale. All info is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rab. scotterson
Last I heard, what record stores were in Jacksonville had closed. I could be missing something, but I don't think you'll have much luck. Gainesville has a few decent stores, about 1.5 hrs away, I think the Daytona Beach area has a store, but I've never been there. Orlando would probably be your best bet, but I think that's about a three hour drive.
rtw88
It wouldn't be worth the drive to Gainesville, in my opinion.
dangerass
There's nothing left. Record stores and small businesses, in general, are a dying breed.
moon
CD connection at the beach has vinyl, nothing special. There is a place called DJ's but its mostly R&B, soul and funk its been around for many years. Orlando is your best bet my brother lives down there and said there is a few record shops. mrc
Cd connection at the beach closed months ago. There are no stores in town anymore. I just stopped in gainesville today and hit up hyde and zekes and they didn't have much there today. I grabbed a few things just cause I traded in a bunch of shit
