gmoney
Oh Brother is the combination of four distinct albums embarked upon but never completed by Joan of Arc curator Tim Kinsella. The four albums became four long movements which fill the totality of each side of the double LP. Each side --A, B, C, and D-- contains one 20 minute track. The four distinct ensembles woven into Oh Brother are: FRIEND / ENEMY (featuring Tim Kinsella, Zach Hill [Hella], Nate Kinsella [Make Believe], Sam Zurick [Cap'n Jazz, Make Believe] and others) TK / FR DUO (Tim Kinsella w/ jazz drummer Frank Rosaly) LIKINS (Tim Kinsella w/ Rob Lowe) MINERAL TOTEM (Tim Kinsella, Jeff Bradbury, Robert Ryan, and Doug Rosenburg) This unique 2xLP is packaged in a deluxe gatefold jacket and is limited edition of 500. Each copy is hand-numbered, with #1-150 pressed on white vinyl and #151-500 on black vinyl. Download code is included. Pre-orders ship February 8. http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/store/index.php?id=1563
