rtw88
I just got supplies to start screen printing shirts for my friends band. I know a few of you have experience screen printing, so anyone got any tips that they've discovered, or aren't immediately obvious? I'm using this as my reference: http://nomediakings.org/doityourself/howto_silkscreen_posters_and_shirts.html Also, if anyone takes the time to read that link, are their any mistakes you see there? Thanks for whatever help I get.

controlthebleeding
I'm the same. i use to silkscreen stuff about 12 years ago when we would silkscreen covers for my roommates band. I would so go with plastisol inks regarding shirts, but unfortunately you need a flash dryer and a high heat temp dryer for those kind of inks... ericheartsu
plastisol is the most pro way to do it. there are ton of things, but its easier for you to just message eric or i with questions.
qskapunk
Buy your equipment from M&R Printing Equipment - they make the best stuff hands down. I also happen to work for them.

qskapunk
sorry, i haven't been working here long enough to have any kind of clout with the sales people the chameleon is a mighty fine press tho
ericxthexred
it is, i worked on one at my last job, and the manual press we currently have is a heap of garbage compared to it.
mrc
during college i worked at a screen printing place and we had 2 of these jams... they are rather awesome but ours was only a 6 color machine.
