adamlikesmusic Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 i know this has nothing to do with a bad apple product, but about 6 years ago my friends g4 tower duel 1.0mhz comp took a shit. he said he took it in and they couldn't fix it. i got it yesterday and i have it running. just had to reset the pram. $20 later (what i paid for the optical mouse and keyboard) it's running as a video storage and mp3 jukebox for my stereo and tv since it has a dual video output. can't wait to upgrade it for a whopping $50. I've been tempted to do the same. A few times I've had a chance to get a g4 cube on the cheap, but never at a time when it sounded like a wise investment. They're also a bitch to upgrade.
