fueledbymike
Ebay deal's just had a macbook pro 13" 2.3ghz model for $1,050 so overall good deal... I was wondering if anyone has purchased items from macmall? also do i still get the same warranty as if i bought it from apple? thanks
jerseydave77
Macmall is legit. As soon as I stopped getting educational discounts are started using them. It's hard to get things on sale if they are the current model but MacMall is really easy to deal with. I bought my most recent laptop and ipad from them about 5 weeks ago. And yes, they come with the apple warranty and they will sell Applecare if you desire.

jerseydave77
You likely still qualify for Apple's education program. I'd look into it now since in many instances the deal you can get on campus is better than what they offer on line. Either way the price is usually as good as MacMall and they toss in an ipod or printer. Congrats on graduating.
fueledbymike
yea i was able to save $50 by using this instead of the education price... quick question though i know apple usually gives away free ipods with macs around graduation time... do you think they will be doing that again? If they are do you think ill be better off canceling this order and just getting it for the education price and selling the ipod?
jerseydave77
Considering the time you've already put in, it probably isn't worth the extra 25-50 you might save. Then again I come from a different perspective where that might make a lot of sense. Sounds like too much trouble to me though.
impact
I've been out of school for about a year now and can still get apple discounts.. you need no proof that you are currently in school if you stuff through their online store.
