shenanigans
So with all the uproar about paypal hating on sellers I saw this payment site and wanted to see if anyone has any experience. https://www.dwolla.com/ I found that each transaction is 25 cents if it's over $10 and free if it's under. What about buyer protection? Any pros/cons?

bearchuck
I've been thinking about signing up for Dwolla. A couple of months ago I tumbled across a really great article / interview with the founder and it sounds like a legit (and way cheaper) alternative to paypal and credit cards. It's a tad long, but definitely an interesting read ... http://articles.businessinsider.com/2011-11-11/tech/30381380_1_credit-card-interchange-fees-paypal Not sure what protections they offer, but since you'd basically be paying with your checking account, I would assume that whatever protections you have with you bank's check card would apply. Could be wrong about that though. Here's a little more about security. http://help.dwolla.com/customer/portal/articles/259282-let-s-talk-safety I'd love to implement this on the Tiny Engines site. The only catch is that anyone sending the label money would need to have a Dwolla account. The good news is that it's free to sign up and there are no fees of any sort ... unless you're the one accepting the money, which which case that 25 cents applies. Not too bad though, especially when you're talking about bigger transactions.
