protagonist
Yep, we're bringing Sed Non Satiata over from France, and they'll be touring with Big Kids, from the midwest to east coast and back. So, if you can help set up a GOOD SHOW for these bands, and would like to see them in your town, let us know. While in Chicago, the band will record for their new LP to be released by Protagonist and Echo Canyon. We may also be re-pressing/re-issuing some older material in time for the US tour. NOTE ON SHOWS: no half-assed shit without promotion or effort please, these guys are coming a LONG way and it's expensive as hell for all involved. Passin the hat to your 6 friends aint gonna cut it. Tour will start in Chicago (or in another city nearby like Milwaukee maybe?) and work it's way out east, around up/down the coast, and then back to Chicago. The adventure will start about August 3rd and run to the 18th or so, and we'll want shows every night along the way. I'll make up a more official thread once we have a better route planned, and a few more details confirmed. Until then, please email us at: protagonist_music (at) yahoo (dot) com if you're down to help!! Or just post your name, the city you can help in, and your email address here and I'll holla Copies of the self-titled LP (2nd press on deep sea blue vinyl) are still available in our webstore, but we're already getting low. http://protagonistmusic.bigcartel.com/ http://www.facebook.com/ProtagonistMusic [www.facebook.com] » Thanks a bunch, Brendan (and Bill)

deafmx
it seems like Big Kids have already doubled up on the Minneapolis house action, hopefully they can get here and play a better promoted show in possibly a bigger basement or an actual venue! protagonist
@ Dustin: we will be in touch in KC makes sense for the route, which is definitely possible. @ Titus: Houston is unlikely man, sorry....cuz I'd love to hang w/ you again and I know you'd do a great show. If that changes, I'll holla immediately.
