3fingersdown
This was the BEST release of RSD 2012 in my opinion, glad I got one this weekend. Even though The recording is from a cassette it sounds FANTASTIC! this is from when Devo was in their prime and you can tell. It's sad that more ppl here don't care about this awesome record but I'm sure their attention is divided between the 45 different Blink threads. +1 for being radical
monsterrod
This was my biggest "want" of RSD. I just heard from my buddy in MA that he was able to pick one up for me on Saturday. I can't wait to get it in.
IanRees
Hoping this is still available when i get paid next week. I had the last one in hand on RSD but gave it to my dad to buy since Devo is his favorite band, he even sings in a Devo punk cover band called Smart Patrol. I always wanted to start an all girl Devo cover band and call them Are We Not Men?

They are really good! As far as getting into Devo, the first 4 albums are the best. My personal favorite is New Traditionalists. Also try Devo Hardcore Vol. 1 and 2 if you are into their weirder less poppy stuff.
IanRees
Awesome, was the singer a pretty heavily tattooed guy (thats my dad)? I think there is another Smart Patrol from Long Beach as well. Even their newest album Something For Everybody is pretty good.
breathingliquid
Yep it was a pretty heavily tattooed guy singing.

3fingersdown
Honestly as someone who isn't a total Devo maniac this live album would be a great introduction. The set list is obviously all early material (their best imo,) and like I said before they were definitely in their prime. I haven't heard the newest record but my friend says it rules & I love the artwork.
