steventangent
I've thought about this, then decided it was probably completely out of my price range.

scottheisel
I've never seen any of their LPs on vinyl anywhere. The only vinyl I know they have is a split 7" with Juno. EDIT: I would kill for Emergency & I and Change on LP.
ronniethebear
I could've sworn I've seen them on ebay before, but I could be wrong.
scottheisel
I've never seen vinyl pressed by DeSoto outside of 7"s. But maybe they were licensed overseas? There's nothing on GEMM (and I've looked every few months)...

oakland
"Change" is incredible. And the depth of the lyrics is insane. Travis told me that the song "The Face of the Earth" is about Michael Jordan, believe it or not. Apparently he'd been dating this girl for a short time, and the two went swimming on the beach one day. She got sucked out in a riptide and disappeared. Travis wrote the song about how awkward the situation must have been. He wasn't in love with the girl, he barely knew her. He wouldn't have been heartbroken but ... something must have been going through his head. The same sort of thing happened to me in high school and Travis's explanation of the lyrics really touched me. I've always had a sort of "what could have been" feeling about this girl I was dating who died.
skumbucket
wow, that's kind of heavy. that sort of happened to my girlfriend too, actually. except she was supposed to go on a date with a dude she only sort of knew and that happened to him earlier in the day. she's never been able to describe the emotion, but it must be very unusual. oakland
yeah, it's a tough one. Few people actually ever experience it really. You're not really sad, you don't feel loss. You're just kind of like "Well, no what?" The funeral is weird as shit.
