piecemeal
Got these, listened to them all, overall pretty spectacular job by Inside Out! Very impressed. Can't wait for the Ayreon releases to come out.

The Vool
Never imagined "The Human Equation" to be released as a 2xLP only...how do you put so much music on 2 LPs?
The Vool
BTW, listening to the record again...always surprised by the gayness of JLB's voice!
markok
Never imagined "The Human Equation" to be released as a 2xLP only...how do you put so much music on 2 LPs? It could work - the music isnt that compressed as far as I can remember (havent listened to it in 5 years).
The Vool
Little help, guys. Has anyone had any contact with the Inside Out shop ([email protected]) recently (this week)? They replied to me last week once but now they seem to be completely absent. I had some damaged item problems and I want to know if they are just ignoring me or what. Thanks! That's typical for IO...was running the official German POS Fanclub and there was no cooperation with the label at all (which is pretty uncommon). Once they have your money, you'll never hear from them again... By the way, does anybody know what happened to Pain of Salvation's "The Perfect Element pt.I"??? Never listed on their site...and was this supposed to be remastered? Because the original sounded like sh*t!

simonldt
Same here. I even had it pre-ordered with Amazon last year but it got cancelled around October time.
The Vool
POS's Remedy Lane & TPE available for preorder! As well as Oceansize's The Frame & Spock's Beard's V Fuck, my wallet is dead and I'm going on holidays in 5 hours...
markok
So, what are the comments on the Pain of Salvation vinyl? I see from discogs matrix numbers, that these are pressed at Optimal in Germany, right?
markok
Anyone? I know that PoS has gone down the toilet lately, but these albums were amazing.
simonldt
I've got them on black and they sound good. A little better than the CD's but not by much (I doubt they used new masters). They're not a revelation but very nice to listen to and pressing quality is good. markok
