xunspokenliesx Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 Yah, but his "full band" on the album is very sparse, and whenever acts that perform solo live start implementing a full band into their live gigs, to me personally, it sounds overdone. Rocky Votolato is one such act that I don't like the full band sound, as I think it drowns him out live in a lot of cases, especially the older songs that have the instrumentation added. For Owen, I think I'm just so used to seeing him acoustic in small intimate settings that it would just be out of place for me to see him with a live band. Wouldn't mind also picking it up on black. As far as the 7" goes, I got in on the preorder and also ordered a black one...I like owen a lot. All the preorders were sent out with a #'d picture, half were Bob, the other half were Mike. I was hoping to get the one of Mike, but of course I got the one with Bob.
