If you constantly have issues with things being shipped to you (seriously, always the issue you say) then add a few extra weeks to the time frame when you first say they will ship, and if it comes early then everyone is happily surprised. We also are putting out a crap-ton of music in fall and winter. Next year we'll have less albums and therefore better timing with this stuff. selfreliable Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 When a label has a history of constantly being late and missing deadlines they impose then yeah, people start pulling out their pitchforks (or in this case stop supporting your label). Honestly, why dont you just suggest having a little more wiggle room in the shipping days? I got no label, never ran one, or anything and even I know that the end of the year and the beginning months all plants are backed up because of RSD and RSD Black Friday and labels trying to have big releases come out before the end of the year. Is it that hard to plan ahead or are you going to the Virgil school of thought where you just wing it and hope for the best and enjoy your two glory years before it tanks? This includes the orders that have something else along with them (including Flatfoot 56 thank goodness). The only thing that is behind here is the posters. We are hand-screening them in the warehouse but they will either get screened on Thursday or Monday I believe. If you ordered a poster your order will ship next week - no poster, probably this week.
