definitely should have laid out some ground rules. either post count or how long you've been a member, maybe a combination of the 2. when you do something like this it's always going to bring out people who have accounts in some instances for years and rarely if ever post, and the only time they do post is to enter a raffle/contest/give away. and it will always bring out people who sign up just to get free shit, who post in the thread to enter the rafle/contest/ give away and are never heard from again. 27 people have signed up just to enter this contest. promoting this on your twitter and blog has no doubt led to some of the people who just signed up to enter. if you're going to promote the raffle/contest/give away off this board you shouldn't run it on this board. and this is coming from someone who is not even entering.

i pointed this exact thing out in my email correspondence with them after they responded with the plant is damaged and was told this, copied and pasted from their response: "Nice support from a fan! Your idea is to abandon everything you support. For a piece of vinyl" so they clearly don't give a shit about getting this 7" out in a timely manner if at all. if and when it gets done it gets done.

i emailed them earlier in the week about this and was told the "the plant was damaged by hurricane sandy" excuse. at this point i wonder if there is still any validity to that excuse/reason. any label people know if all the plants in brooklyn are up and running or are there still some that are still in the process of rebuilding.

nothing new. i was referring to what happened with the bad religion box set this musicinveins douche pretty much stole from him when he was filing chargebacks after getting stuff he won in the mail. vinyl junkie went through the proper legal channels, the musicinveins guy appeared to have shit his pants after seeing he could face legal trouble and then promptly returned the box set. at least he hasnt pulled the charge back bullshit of late, but i hoped potential jail time or a court case would have set this musicinveins guy straight and he would stop all of his bullshit completely.
