ajxd
Build one yourself. Acrylic + acrylic cement + time = dustcover!

cymbalism15
Build one yourself. Acrylic + acrylic cement + time = dustcover! I have a friend that did this and he couldn't get the measurements or hinging right so it just made it large/tall enough that it just covers the whole thing and sits on the table that the TT is on. Works for him and cost him <$50 iirc
ajxd
Best way to do it. I don't think you should ever have your dustcover connected when listening to records...
ticotico
a swifer would be a lot less expensive than a dust cover

cymbalism15
...really? Please use a Swifer on your stylus. Post results. I thought maybe he was joking, I want to believe... and wouldn't taking the dust cover off defeat part of the purpose? Dust on the records as it plays? ajxd
How much dust do you think will fall in 12-15mins? If you think it's a lot, you live in filth! Dust covers are there to protect it for the 20+ hours a way your turntable isn't playing.
