Frakenwaffle
I just bought a japanese made portable turntable, the brand is realtone. I put fresh batteries in it, and put on a record, and the sound is very low. I noticed there is speaker wire welded onto the sound distributor or whatever when i opened it. Any ideas on how to get the sound louder?
cymbalism15
It probably needs a preamplifier, a phono stage on a receiver with an integrated amp would also work. Hard to say without the exact model.
kannibal
What is a sound distributor? A speaker? If you move your ear closer to the speaker it should sound louder.
bearchuck
Did you check the amplicators, or maybe it's the second level resistomatron that's giving you problems?
