dreamover
They should treat all their customers the same. i'm not defending them. Also, they offer a lower weight vinyl then most plants will allow. no one should ever chose their lowest weight, but people do because it's cheaper. oxxo
I will admit that the Third Man stuff tends to be better quality (although my first copy of Dead Weather's Horehound literally had pot holes in it), their standard weight pressings for major labels tend to be pretty shitty, and especially off center. Every time I see that hand scratched U in a circle in the deadwax, I expect to see my tone arm sway back and forth (and/or up and down)... Matador just replaced a Lemonade and a Teengirl Fantasy for me due to shitty pressings. Went through three Erykah Badu "New Amerykah Part 1" before I found a decent copy. Went through half dozen David Byrne/Saint Vincent "Love This Giant" before I found one that didn't sound like sand paper (or was warper). My first copy of Fiona Apple's "Idler's Wheel" had a spiral gouge out of one side that looked like someone dragged a steak knife through it.
