Also, I'm keeping the clear copy. It's got a bit of the white in it, and might be a transition copy, but all I know is I think it looks cooler, so I'm holding onto it. I got married for $50 at the makeshift Hyde County, NC courthouse, then ate dinner at a place called Martelle's Feedhouse. Best we could do back then. Looking back now, it was the perfect decision. He didn't say "sure, but give me a portion of it," he didn't demand anything of me, only said that if I wanted to do it that way, it was definitely a nice gesture. Don't try to make him feel any guilt for taking something he didn't ask for. *I* decided I was going to give him some of this because I know shit gets expensive. That's all.
