thomasj182
Looking to upgrade a few things on my player soon, needle, slipmat, speakers, etc. Wanted to get some talk about slipmats going, are they all created equal? Have any bad/good experiences with any specific one or from a company? What's your favorite to use?
slinch
Regular felt slipmats sre pretty much all the same and only have negative effects on your listening experience. Cork, leather and acrylic slipmats are an improvement, depending on the specific drawbacks of your table/arm/cart/hifi-rack combination. Changing the cartridge or speakers will undoubtedly have a bigger impact on the sound quality, but at a much higher cost of course. What compone ts do you have? Also, take a peek in the equipment subforum, all of your questions have already been answered there, I'm sure. konk
devils19901
Speaking of slipmats, I know a lot of people on here don't like Victory, but they put a bunch of slipmats up that havealbum covers and band logos for Bayside, Blood for Blood, and BTBAM, Streetlight manifesto.
