sgoodcore
start by thinking about where you go to buy vinyl.
flood
are you trying to buy vinyl to resell, or get distributors to sell your releases?

chaps
get distributors to sell your releases? Yeah sorry I wasn't clear about that.
counterfiction
usually talk to their new accounts/sales personnel. best bet on getting a long list? talk to your local record store.
flood
yer best bet is to contact those who have track records with the type of music you're dealing with. product sitting at a distributor who can't move it is waste for you. I sell more stuff thru virgil than just about anywhere else (and actually get paid monthly...oh yeah make sure to check payment terms for distributors.. most of them suck.. if they bother to pay you at all)

jailhouse
screenprinted covers are expensive as shit. You will probably pay at least a buck a piece if your only getting a limited amount of covers.

We have a few friends in the business we are going to talk to and try to work something out. We are doing 100 screen printed covers. Split up /30 on one color ink /30 on another and 40 on a 3rd.
