I really like the vast majority of the album, especially tracks 3 and tracks 5-7, but the vinyl was not pressed very well, there is an intrusive amount of noise in between tracks. Underworld vinyl is usually very good, I have many of the 12" releases and LPs, Oblivion With Bells and Barking in particular were excellent...can't suss out from the matrices who pressed this, shame it wasn't MPO.Digital versions have pretty harsh mastering, the 24-bit/96kHz flac download that comes with the vinyl is actually MORE peak-limited than the CD files, WTF?As I usually do with loudness wars CDs, this one goes in the car where a lack of dynamics isn't particularly noticeable.
