Got to Newbury about an hour and 15 before they opened and was probably around 40-50 back in line. Prices sucked, so I only ended up buying Joy Division - An Ideal for Living and fun. - Point and Light along with their exclusive color version of The Strokes - Is This It.
Might stop by Bull Moose later and see if there's anything left. I really wanted one of those of Montreal 45s...

Stopped by the closest NC after class today to try to find one of the Strokes LPs for myself, and all they had left was a couple Nirvanas and a Wu-Tang. Wasn't expecting to find any PJ, but oh well. Wish I could've helped.

Missy - she's almost 13 now and I've grown up with her since elementary school. I couldn't ask for a better cat.
(She's sitting on me as I type this, actually.)

A while back I was at one of the shops I frequent looking through a bunch of records the owner had just got in, which included two brand new and sealed copies of No Code, complete with $9.99 Newbury Comics price stickers from '96. I'm not even a PJ fan but it was still fun looking at two records that would easily sell for $200 each today which cost a measly 10 bucks when they were released.

Just placed a nice order with Burger, all tapes 40% off through the weekend.

I've always wanted the Lion King soundtrack on wax but I could never convince myself to shell out $60+ for it. This will do.

Kishi Bashi - Lighght LP (preorder)
Lotus Plaza - Overnight Motorcycle Music (cassette)

If I see it in store I'll probably end up picking it up. IIRC, I think they're a few bucks cheaper in person anyway. Don't have a vinyl copy yet and I like the color combo.

I've tried to avoid spending money buying these but the Arrested Development ones are probably going to make me cave...

That gold splatter is niiiiice.

I'll probably be going on Saturday only like I did last time.

The only one I can think of is the fact that I bought packs of yellow 45 adapters for months, not realizing my turntable had one all along.

I love all of Wes Anderson's films, but this is the kind of thing that I'd buy for the novelty more than anything else. I doubt I'd ever really listen to the soundtracks, because for me they're so linked to the films and imagery that I might as well just watch my Blu-rays.
I'm in this boat too. I love Wes' work, but this will definitely be expensive. Trust me, I'd love to have it as a fun thing, but between the price and how much I'd actually go out of my way to listen to it I doubt the two would add up.

New episode was so good.

At first I was underwhelmed but now I'm starting to see a lot of cool stuff in the list updates. Better start saving...

The Transatlanticism cassette is worth it.

The demos cassette is so cool. Now that I will be buying.

Didn't even think to check XL. Here's hoping they get the deluxe edition eventually.

Out May 5th. First single, "I See You":
Pre-order here. Looks like there is both a standard and deluxe version of the double LP, but so far no indication on what the difference is between the two. According to the site, all pre-orders regardless of the version will be signed.

Won't be buying since I already have the 2009 reissue, but glad to see this back in print again.
