  1. Hahahaha. The ones I wanted are the ones that are all "KEEP" or "MAYBE KEEP", but I also can't afford any of them!
  2. Thanks. I saw that previously. I was able to find each LP, I believe, on black, via different retailers. I'd prefer to try to get my hands on an orange copy of The Hurry & The Harm, that's the one she wanted. I guess what I'm looking for is potential deals and potentially locating variants other than black.
  3. I haven't received any messages on this yes, buuuump! Kind of surprised, no one wants to let go of their records at all!?
  4. I've never been there! I live near Detroit, so I've been to those venues, but not that venue.
  5. I am mostly interested in The Hurry And The Harm on Orange vinyl, but I'm open to buying any City & Colour record of any variant, especially if the price is right. I'm aware that I won't probably get a cost+ship deal on that record especially, but I'm just seeing what people want for their C&C records. Let me know, guys! My girlfriend is finally getting into vinyl and I want to try to show her how awesome it is. City and Colour is her favorite. Also, if anyone is trying to get rid of Alexisonfire records, let me know. I'll potentially take interest in some of those as well. Thanks guys! Here's my tradelist: http://deadformat.net/tradelist/Kyle_ftl
  6. may or may not have spent 50 dollars on 6 records that also may or may not have included jay-z's blueprint 3.
  7. I ordered this record from SRC a couple months ago and yes, it was clear. If you'd like me to take a photo of it so you can see how the clear looks before you purchase it, let me know. I thought the design on it was kinda cool, too.
  8. this is so damn tempting for me. I just think I'll enjoy the split more than the other two colors and I definitely don't want to give that up.. damn you, why can't you settle for either of the other two!?
  9. Man, tempted to once again pick up Sum 41... picked it up at hot topic and gave it away to a friend because I knew she'd appreciate it much more than I would, but 12 dollars... that's pretty cheap. Say what you will about SRC, they definitely give out a ton of deals and they consistently put out solid products. I can't say I much enjoy how hard they bump up prices on records, but I definitely enjoy the products, and when I get records I enjoy for like 5-10 dollars (Hawthorne Heights - Skeletons, Hit The Lights - Invicta, missed out on Anchor & Braille), it makes me pretty happy.
  10. If this enough for you guys to think warrants a replacement sleeve? http://i44.tinypic.com/5x3fk7.jpg
  11. lol received this finally, and the cover is just bent up worse than any record I've ever received. I'm not sure if I should email them about potentially trying to get a replacement cover for the record, if they'd even be willing to help me out on that. The record is fine, and I'm extremely happy with it... I just am pretty bummed about the bent up cover.
  12. You should have said you were planning to ship it in a grocery bag.
  13. I just enjoy my life today. Can't wait to receive this in the mail.
  14. On the three-pack, I went to order it, the loading screen went off for a while and it was basically frozen... I refreshed the page and went to order it again, and it said "Sorry, should be back soon" or something. Then, I clicked my cart, and it was already in my cart. That may be the case for some other people as well, although I am not quite sure.
  15. So jealous. Sold out before I could add one.
  16. Well the site totally just crashed on me, I think?
  17. Ugh, that quad split looks wonderful. Why can't I just buy it with fast fingers?! Haha. I will be ordering from Thunderbeard again, and hopefully this time everything goes smooth! Man, I thought I was slowing down on buying records...
  18. Guys, I plan to be online tomorrow at 2 PM to order this. If anyone will not be here, I am willing to help you out If you want a copy of x variant, let me know and I'll order it for you. I'd prefer to keep shipping within the USA. I don't quite know what to charge you for your copy, so just talk to me and hopefully we can figure something out. I'm obviously going to keep the charge at cost+ship, but with a flat rate on shipping, it's a tough call!
  19. I knew someone would mention RJ hahaha. I almost mentioned him as an exception of who I wouldn't purchase this press from. ADR I'm not a huge fan of at this point, but I don't dislike them/him enough to pass up on one of my all time favorite records just because he pressed it. @ caring about overpaying for a retail record -- I definitely think I'd complain about it, but in most cases I'd probably still buy it if I loved the record enough. It's definitely becoming ridiculous to see records being sold at a retail price of $30+, especially considering a year or two ago a 2xLP was basically half that price. Also, sorry for calling you a label, Joe. Still absolutely love how HIPV turned out, that is one record I'm most likely never letting go of. Now, I'll just stop replying here until more details are given because I feel like I've kind of hijacked this thread a bit and I feel bad about it. I just didn't understand why everyone has such a problem with the people pressing this record, because I'm just happy that it's getting pressed at all, and I think that those involved in the process have to be pretty passionate about the band and the music, and that's awesome to me.
  20. I wasn't trying to say anything negative about company ink. I probably shouldn't have even used that as an example, because I think it's an absolutely fantastic label run by a really awesome dude. I was just saying that I would have spent 40 dollars on each of the two colors and another 20 on the damn flexi, and not even cared about overpaying or anything like that simply because I love that album so damn much. That's how I feel about this record, and it's just shocking to me that everyone is so concerned about who is or isn't in on getting it released because, in my eyes, I'm just really glad that it actually is getting released and it's easily a record I've personally have wanted to see pressed since I started collecting (which, admittedly, wasn't all that long ago). To me, as long as I know that in the end I'll be able to own and play Acceptance - Phantoms on my record player, I'm just thankful that anyone is willing to put the record out. That's all I'm really trying to say... I'm surprised people are so turned off by who they believe is pressing it because I know this is a record that a good amount of people have been waiting to hear on vinyl for quite some time, and I just figured they'd be thankful ANYONE is finally putting this out.
  21. I don't think I'm understanding the problem here. An album that so many people have been dying to have on vinyl for the past 10 fucking years is finally being released and people are going to complain about it just because of the people that put the effort into getting the thing out? I dunno, I'm just stoked to finally be able to have this on vinyl! It's just like when Hidden In Plain View was finally released on vinyl, I didn't care how much the price was or who the hell pressed it, I just wanted the damn record... that's how I feel right now.
